CVE-2020-15358: Buffer Overflow

Published Jun 27, 2020
·
Updated

In SQLite before 3.32.3, select.c mishandles query-flattener optimization, leading to a multiSelectOrderBy heap overflow because of misuse of transitive properties for constant propagation.

Other sources

SQLite is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a heap-based buffer overflow in the mishandling of query-flattener optimization in select.c. By sending a specially-crafted query, a local authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and cause the application to crash.
